5 Powerful Things to Reflect on In the Waiting Season

I know the world we live in constantly tells us to level up, do more, get more, be more. But that can be over whelming. And lead us to try and force things that God isn’t even telling us to do or be. Is there ever a time when we can just be still….be silent…. invite calm? Sometimes God want’s us in a waiting season.

In Psalms 37:7 the bible tells us to “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him…

In those times of waiting for Him, we should reflect.

What to Reflect on?

  1. What do we have now? This will trigger a “thankful praise”, because we have so much already.
  2. How can we be better stewards of what and who God has given us? I often forget that taking care of our things is a part of who we are. We shouldn’t just pray for the house and not clean it. I’m guilty of letting things and people “slide by the wayside.” I want to be better at nurturing my relationships and blessings.
  3. What wonderful moments have been happening in our lives? Even the small moments are wonderful in the grand scheme of things, don’t forget about them.
  4. Have I been creating better habits for myself and family? Habits can be implemented when you feel you have so much time on your hands. Create a good habit or break a bad one.
  5. Is there anyone I can help or uplift today (this week, this month)? Think of someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Send them a text or card in the mail. You can even send a virtual card to email. Just let them know you are thinking of them. There are so many ways. We’ll have to write another post about that.

It can be hard to narrow in on reflections, but we must. Get a journal or notebook and ponder on some of these suggestions from above. What did you find out? Take that to the Lord in prayer. You can still be productive in your waiting season.

Thank you for spending a quick moment with us today. Be encouraged. Join the conversation in the comments below, we’d love to hear from you.

God Bless.

How To Find Biblical Joy In Your Everyday Life

There are so many things going on around us that cloud our ability to see good in our lives. Sometimes the enemy’s voice can be heard through the hustle and bustle of life. Although, it’s easier said than done, we have to find the will to find joy in our lives.

Jesus never said that our lives would be easy as pie. However, he did promise to be with us, give us abundant life and a good plan, until the end. He said that we would lack nothing. And that is where we find our Joy. In His words, which are true today, yesterday and tomorrow. We can have Joy knowing that Jesus’ power overturns the enemy’s’ any day and His word is sufficient enough.

Scriptures to Promote Joy in your Day to Day Lives

  • You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7
  • Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4
  • Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.2 Corinthians 6:10
  • When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy. Psalm 94:19
  • The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Psalm 23:1
  • But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22
  • For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
  • The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

I hope reading these scriptures will give you more reason to keep joy on heart as the days go on until this season passes for you. Meditate on God’s word whenever you feel low. They will bring you great joy!

Christian-Based Clothing Brand

Get to Know Us

We are a clothing brand whose main objective is to spread the love and word of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each piece is designed to say something about Jesus. So that we can be a walking Buildboard for Him. It can be hard to share the goodness of Jesus, only because we may not know what to say. As we pray and wait for those words, we can let our Attire speak for us, and bridge the gap.

The Logo

Lots of meanings can be taken from our logo. The X and O stand for XtraOrdinary. This word sums up our feeling of who God is in our lives. We gave it a new spelling. The Cross and Palm tree signify the sacrifice of Jesus. The palm leaves were used to depict joy and triumph. They were laid on Jesus’ path as He rode in the city on Palm Sunday. The Cross is where He died for us.

The Image

XO Logo collection has lots of colors, sweatshirts and hoodies and joggers to complete the set.

Did you notice why most of our photos are taken outside? It’s because we are in the world not of it. We are supposed to walk the earth and share God’s gospel. So, we share our brand in the world where it should be. Out, sharing God’s love. The feel of our brand is supposed to feel like paradise, easy and calm.
